FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

TRP’S ANNUAL AUTHOR EXPO IS OPEN TO ALL AUTHORS AND PUBLISHERS
Avondale, AZ, January 20, 2011:  TRP’s Author Expo is the book industry's premier trade show scheduled to take place on March 4th -5th in the West Valley at the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Avondale, AZ.  The expo’s goal is to provide authors an invaluable opportunity to present their titles, as well as take part in education and information sessions, author lunches, and other special events. There are also many opportunities to network with booksellers, marketers, social networkers, printers, literary agents and other industry professionals.
TRP Publishing House will be launching their latest addition to their company called “Young World Writers” (YWW) during this year’s Expo. “Our goal is to encourage children to take their feelings, gifts and ideas and put them into words” says Tonya Reed, Lead Publisher and CEO of the TRP Publishing House and YWW.  “We promote reading programs, expressive art, one-on-one book coaching and artistic talents to help develop the gifts within each individual.  YWW’s motto is simple:  Creative Thoughts of the Next Generation!

“We are honored to have Tonya Reed spearhead the publishing family at TRP,” says Linda F. Heckard, Editor-in-Chief of TRP Publishing House.  “Tonya Reed embraces the idea of helping aspiring writers to become published authors as well as educate them on getting their books into the mainstream market.  Her desire to open up and share valuable information with up and coming authors and publishers make her an asset to the industry.”
The annual literary celebration is comprised of workshops, seminars, live music, presentations and much more. The Board of Directors has made it a goal to make this one of the most memorable events of the West Valley Community. This year’s expo will feature lively workshops with topics such as: Understanding the Publishing Process, Getting Organized to Write a Book, Overcoming Writer's Block, Book Marketing: Creating Multiple Streams of Income with Your Book, Author Spotlight, and children’s workshops and activities.

Featured guests scheduled to appear are keynote speakers are Shaurad Moore and Maria Reyes whose lives were portrayed in the award winning film, “Freedom Writers” starring Hilary Swank and Patrick Dempsey, and award-winning educational consultant and motivational speaker, Habibullah Saleem, author of an exciting new book titled Power Poetry for Wide Awake Youth.  Using spoken word and rap rhythms, Power Poetry for Wide Awake Youth challenges youth, teens, parents, and teachers to redefine the way they see daily realities.  At-risk students and others who have lost their desire for learning in the traditional educational setting perk up when Mr.  Saleem starts his presentation with “Everybody up, hands up, hands out, move ‘em over.” Other guests include Songstress Tisa Steele Williams of Phoenix, AZ and author Robin Blue of 4 books including her latest release O.W.L-Optimum Weight Loss.
All workshops and author’s tables require registration. For more information please visit www.authorexpo.com.
Potential sponsors are encouraged to contact the Expo at (877) 61-BOOKS or info@authorexpo.com.

TRP Author’s Expo is organized by TRP Publishing House, a publishing company based in the Phoenix Metropolitan area for 4 ½ years.  TRP Publishing is owned and operated by Author Tonya Y. Reed as well as a bookstore, Website Designing & Hosting Company.

Young World Writers is the latest addition to the TRP family.  Young World Writers (YWW) is a publishing company that only publishes children from the ages of 6-18 years.  The goal of YWW is to encourage and assist young people on their journey to becoming published Authors.  The writers are taught to not only use writing as a therapeutic tool, but also the importance of expressive writing.  YWW’s slogan is simply, “Creative Thoughts of the Next Generation”.

Habibullah Saleem earned a degree in physical education from Benedict College in South Carolina. He has been a professional educational consultant for the past forty years and is currently a motivational speaker in elementary and middle schools. Habibullah teaches children math and phonics through poetry, theater, sports metaphors, crayon metaphors, word plays, songs, rhymes, and rhythm.  His Creative Reaching, Teaching and Learning (CRTL) methodology and techniques have a proven track record of successful intervention for children at risk in public schools. His book, Power Poetry For Wide Awake Youth is the kind of poetry students will not hesitate to read over and over again, with an excitement surprising to parents and educators alike. He self-published his first book, ‘‘Dead Teachers Should Not Be Allowed to Teach Live Students.”

Over the past 45 years Mr. Saleem has traveled the United States teaching.  He has tutored Muhammad Ali’s children, and ran a literacy program for Magic Johnson, traveling with Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King III on the Acts of Kindness Tour during the 1990s. He is currently the Educational Consultant and Training Director at Young World Writers (YWW) under the TRP Publishing House.
